Patrolman Matthew M. Powell joined the French Lick Police in October of 1997 as a patrolman. Officer Powell is a 1993 graduate of Paoli High School, and attended Vincennes University in the law enforcement program. Office Powell is a 1998 graduate of the Indiana Law Enforcement Academy. During the year 2000, Officer Powell completed the certified training officer course offered by the Indiana Law Enforcement Academy and is currently obtaining his training hours to be a qualifed instructor.
